Re: A sound problem

Hello, :) Hi again :) I have the following scenario: - I'm playing a flash movie with sound loopable, but I set the volume to 0 (because I just want the wav buffer). How do you set the volume? Thank you. The volume with: FPC_SetSoundVolume(m_hFPC, 0); Anyway ... the problem was somewhere else in my...

A sound problem

:) Hi again :)

I have the following scenario:
- I'm playing a flash movie with sound loopable, but I set the volume to 0 (because I just want the wav buffer).
- first loop it plays with original volume, the next loops plays with volume 0

Does anyone know what might be the problem ?

There is no message loop on that thread. Somehow I've managed to move all the initializations on the same thread, but I still don't know what was the problem. One more thing :) ... it seems that one swf is playing immediately without a call to FPC_Play. Am I doing something wrong ? Or is there any w...

One more issue

I have the following scenario: - I have a simple MFC modal dialog - on another thread I initialize the OCX and I load a flash window with FPC_CreateWindow In this case my modal dialog remains unresponsive (and my flash sound plays in background). Do you know what can be the problem or how can this b...

In the demo, there is a D3DXCreateTexture call.

Try to use D3DPOOL_DEFAULT and USAGE_DYNAMIC, also check if your directX is set up for release.

I'm doing something similar (it seems we both have based our code on the FlashTexture sample). but I'm using the version with transparency and I'm not using that WM_PAINT message. You can try that if the SendMessage shows up in a profiler. Also you can try the Code Analyzer from AMD ... it might sho...

It seems that when using FPC_SetSoundListener with multiple flash movies playing at the same time, there is no way I can know what flash video has sent the sound. Am I mistaking or is there any way I can pair a .swf with a sound ? Also, is there any way I can tell if a flash has sound or not ? Thanks.

Are you using the callback ? (like in the provided demo that does the same thing ... FlashTexture is called) it seems ok for me.

Yes, it seems to work :)

I have another problem now ... it seems to leak and I've traced the problem that somehow in CFlashOCXLoader::UnloadCode() the CanUnloadNow() returns FALSE.

I'm still trying to figure this out.

Any idea on this one :) ?

I have an update on this one :D ...

It seems that The ocx and the hwnd owner of the flash controller is in one thread and the FPCSetEventListener call and the FPC_CreateWindow is in another thread.

Problems with FPCSetEventListener

I'm using FPCSetEventListener to get notifications to copy the flash output to a texture (same as in the provided DirectX example).

For some reason, everything is ok, except I don't get any notification, do you have any idea what might be the problem ?

Thanks
