Newbie questions

Postby classicflash » Mon Apr 03, 2006 3:34 pm

With the controller can I achieve the following:

Change the colour of a flash object( eg have a flash image with the lines set to red, the be able to change the colur to blue). I am presuming I can have the colour of the line as a variable within a flash file. Anyone with a simple sample flash file.

If the above is possible, is it possible to 'swap' an image within the flash file.(eg browse to an image, and have that image used in the flash animation).

Once this is achieved can we then save the new flash animation.

Hope I am making sense.

We are looking into developing a program to enable an end user to ' modify' an existing flash animation without any programming knowledge.

Thank you for your questions.

I think, yes. You can get / set variables in the Delphi and run flash scripts from Delphi (for instance, using Flash External API).

I'm sorry, I didn't understand... Could you describe this more exactly?

Thank you.

Changing an image

Postby classicflash » Mon Apr 03, 2006 4:17 pm

If I have a flash animation with 'image1.jpg' rotating through 180 degrees.

Can I change the image to 'image2.jpg' via flashplayercontrol.

ie can the image that is stored within a flash animation be a variable as well.

Eg RotatingImage := 'image1.jpg' ;

As soon I understand your idea, you can do it. You can write a function in flash script that changes the images. And then call this function from Delphi code when you need.
