Much slower than using native movie property

Postby happywking » Fri Apr 01, 2005 7:02 am

I tried the demo version of the component , but I find that it will take much longer time to load the swf file by stream than using native movie property.

It takes a few seconds to load swf file into the player, but If I use the "Movie" property, it dosen't take any time.

Will this situation change after I buy it?

Yes, the problem exists in the registered version too. We are working on reducing time of loading a movie from a stream.

One program I am working on generates and loades many swf's per second. With simple files the response is very good, but when the swf file contain many objects (3-4000 sprites), the performance goes down.

I always thought the problem was in generating the swf, but if you can help incrasing performance by speeding up the loading of the swf, that would be excellent.
