Speeding up fps

Postby kredisov » Thu May 03, 2007 9:20 am

Hello
How can I speed up the fps rate in Transparent Mode.
For example - in NonTransparent the fps is 39 and in Transparent it is 4 !!?1?
Why does it work so slow?

Thank you for your question.

Yes, that's problem. You can try to reduce the movie dimensions.
FlashPlayerControl is not able to play some movies faster.

Does it depends on extVGA/int card?
Should I increase VGA memory or use extVGA card to improve it?
(My application runs only in Maximized mode and contains a lot of widgets)

We haven't experimented with that... FlashPlayerControl recalculates alpha values for each pixel, it takes a lot of time.
