I am using a demo version of f-in-box in a 3D environment. However it decreases the fps of the 3d engine significantly... Is the demo version a reason account for it?

Thank you for your question.

The demo version can decrease due to "DEMO VERSION" is displayed periodically.

Have you looked at Google Lively? Google uses f-in-box to render 3d, and it works well.

In which mode you use f-in-box window: fully transparent or semi transparent? Do you use Delphi edition or DLL?

Thank you.

Yes, we are doing something very similar to lively.
We are now using fully transparent mode.

It is really a weird problem. We are also a plug-in in browser, and the plug-in can pop up as a window, just like lively.

If the window is popped out and minimize the hosting web page, the fps will be normal. However, if the hosting web page is maximized, the fps will be very very slow.

So you create a window as in sample Sample4_Translucency, right?

Thank you.
