Loading a movie but not playing it.

Postby Tom » Thu Sep 15, 2005 5:08 am

Has anyone had the hassle of loading a movie but not making it auto play.

I need to load then play on request.

Also if I create a movie in Captivate it will not give me the correct number of frames in the movie.

I cannot then tell when the movie has stopped.

Has anyone a clue on how I can get a stopped playing response.

Thanks

Tom

Stop works but

Postby Tom » Fri Sep 16, 2005 12:56 am

After the load has completed I put in a Stop command.

The vision stopped but the audio keeps playing.

Any ideas anyone.

Same problem with movie clips

Postby ftubino » Thu Mar 29, 2007 1:25 pm

I have some problems like this. My application can correctly read and load the .fla from a stream. The program loads and stops the animation without problems, but it fails when the first frame of .fla contains one movie-clip. In that case, the animation continues playing and the application cannot stop it. What can I do?
