Blank bitmap in OpenGL

I've just put the DLL (demo) version into our OpenGL application. It's pretty much the sample code verbatim except I'm passing in our existing hWnd to FPC_CreateWindow and using a swf I've loaded into memory.
It all seems to initialise fine and FPCListener is being called but when I check the contents of the bitmap in FPCListener it's just full of zeros.
Any ideas?
