How can i get the movie freeze?

Postby Flecks » Wed Feb 13, 2008 1:30 pm

I need to freeze the whole swf movie when my application looses focus.
The swf movie simply plays flv-s from internet (flv wrapper), and when i minimize my application the movie progress continues to play.
I cannot change swf.

Is there any native API for this purpose? Or any advice?

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunaly, there is no such feature in the native flash interface.

I can suggest you to create a separate thread, in which you create an f-in-box window and load this movie. When application is minimizing, you just call SuspendThread of f-in-box's thread. What do you think about this idea?

Yes, i was already thinking about this... and i have a little fear to do, couse there is many SendMessage() and other calls to f-in-box.

Since there is no other way, i'll try
