F-in-a-box/Flash 10.1 beta 2 translucency issue

I've noticed that the adobe flash 10.1 beta breaks solutions which use the f-in-a-box for translucency. The swf displays the 1st frame but does not play. This issue can be reproduced by running your demo application - Sample04_Translucency.exe. Is something changed in Flash 10.1? How can I address this?

Adobe Flash 10.1 beta can be downloaded here.

I've checked flash ocx 10.1.51.45, and sample #4 from the demo 3.3.3.6 does work well. What's version of the OCX you have tested?

Thank you!

It seems that I need your help again.

Could you please send me flash ocx currently installed on your machine?

It usually located in %SystemRoot%\System32\Macromed\Flash. My email is support (at) f-in-box.com

Thank you in advance!

This is a bug in the Flash control itself related to transparency within applications in 10.1 beta releases. I've reported it to them and they are currently investigating this issue.

Thanks for the fast reply.

It's interesting that IE8 does handle transparency correctly with the latest beta. Doesn't it use the same mechanism? Just curious...

Yes, really unusual. Still waiting an answer from Adobe...

Thank you.
