restricted from playback

I've come across several examples of youtube flash movies not playing in our application. They receive it is restricted from playback on certain sites. The movie plays fine from within a browser window. So, I assume the browser is sending request variables that youtube validates and our application (using f_in_box) does not send these variables resulting in failure. First question: is this assumption correct. Second question: can I get access to the request variables, e.g. user-agent, referer, etc. from f_in_box and spoof these values such that it appears to come from a browser. Thanks for the help.
