Loading NPSWF32.dll

Postby tos » Thu Sep 24, 2009 1:50 am

Hello, I have an interesting view to share.
Many users today use Firefox (or Opera) and those browsers use alternative flash file called NPSFW32.dll
It means that this file is usually of more recent version than Flash*.ocx
This is just an idea as I feel very uncomfortable enforcing users to open iexplore.exe and go to www.adobe.com and download most recent ActiveX version of flash player (as adobe automagically detects which browser is visiting download page).
I'm just curious, Is there any crazy way to have f-in-box compatible with NPSWF32.dll ?

Thank you for your question.

The idea is really interesting, but we should to rewrite a lot of code to implement it...

Thank you.
