Memory leak

Postby artelogic » Fri May 09, 2008 11:42 pm

There is obviously still a memory leak in the flash.ocx, did anybody elaborate a robust solution for that problem?
The SetProcessWorkingSetSize calling does not help me. I am under Vista.

TIA
Chris

How to reproduce the problem? Could you please upload anywhere sample code to test?

Thank you.

Due to http://www.f-in-box.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=59 I thought it was a known Flash ActiveX problem?

Yes... Usually SetProcessWorkingSetSize solves the problem...

A little more information about it here:

http://hallvards.blogspot.com/2008/02/t ... -apps.html

Describes it as 'Smoke and Mirrors' and apparently doesn't really do anything apart from change how it looks in the memory usage graph...
